Rick Ross – Black Dollar “An OG’s Sountrack” 5 Stars

Rick Ross Black Dollar

Rick Ross drops his much anticipated mixtape “Black Dollar” just months after his detrimental kidnapping case. I must say it doesn’t sound like Ricky lost a step in the process. This mixtape is nothing short of classic! It has amazing features (Anthony Hamilton and The Dream), expensive production, and sincere lyricism. I really thought Ross would drop a 10 track tape with rushed bars and trap beats to hold his fans over until his next industry project. This joint was more like an album. He even took the time to touch on subjects ranging from slave mentality and materialism, to love and his success. I must admit there were a few tracks and hooks that seem repetitive, plus I would have liked to hear a few of those trap beats. However, even with that fact, this project is clearly an OG’s soundtrack! #StashIt -@Flashfury1
