It’s nice to see 50 cent refuses to let rap beef, bankruptcy, and network issues stop his grind. The G-Unit boss will soon be executive producing and hosting a variety show called “50 Cent presents” on the A&E network. The Hollywood Reporter states:
Developed by, starring and executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, the project is described as a potential showcase series that takes In Living Color a step further, combining sketches, stand-up, reality experiments, music, magic, dance and celebrity guest appearances. Jackson will serve as host of what’s considered an innovative take on the variety format.
Unscripted shows generally exist on a “Fly or Die” basis. So we can expect a a big flop like NBC’s “Best Time Ever” with Neil Patrick Harris, or a major success like Spike TV’s “Lip Sync Battle” with LL Cool J. Only time will tell, the show is set to air in 2017.
