Talib Kweli Claps Back At Gene Simmons & KISS Fans

If you’re a fan of Hip-Hop & Rap then you probably got pissed when Gene Simmons of KISS recently said he was “Looking forward to the death of rap” during a Rolling Stone interview.  This isn’t the first time Simmons commented on his dislike of the genre. In the past Simmons stated:

“You’ve got Grandmaster Flash in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Run-DMC in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? You’re killing me! [It] doesn’t mean those aren’t good artists. But … they sample and they talk. Not even sing! … If you don’t play guitar and you don’t write your own songs, you don’t belong there.” 

Dissatisfied with Gene’s words New York emcee Talib Kweli took to Twitter to state his opinion. Hours later Kweli received tweets from various angry KISS fans taking up for Simmons. Talib unapologetic on the subject stood his ground and clapped back  at who ever wanted it, peep:
