Generally when you hear allegations of celebrities molesting children, most people assume it’s a money thing. However, the individual making the claims doesn’t need the money or attention for that matter. Ronald Savage is a former New York State Democratic Committee member and currently a judicial delegate in the 12th Judicial District in the Bronx. He’s claiming Africa made him perform sexually explicit acts when he was a teen over 30 years ago. HotNewHipHop.com reported:
Former New York State Democratic Committee member Ronald Savage has accused hip-hop pioneer Afrika Bambaataa of molesting him, starting when he was 13-years old, in his new book “Impulse, Urges and Fantasies.” According to Savage, Bambaataa (real name Kevin Donovan) forced Savage to perform oral sex on him, during the peak of Zulu Nation’s popularity (a collective founded by Bambaataa), around 1979. Bambaata would have been 21 at the time.
These claims are being taken rather seriously, if only because of Savage’s current clout– he is currently a judicial delegate in the 12th Judicial District in the Bronx. During a recent radio show interview, the now 50-year old Savage spoke on the accusations, saying, “I was a kid when this happened. I wanted to be down with the in-crowd, not really understanding that what Bambaataa was doing to me was molesting me. I knew it was wrong. I had these feelings that were like, ‘Yuck.'”
